1. Base it up with whole foods.
Make sure the main ingredients in your smoothie is fresh fruits and veggies. I personally do not prefer adding veggies like broccoli into my smoothies but I do love adding green leafy vegetables like spinach and kale. Adding cookies and chocolates is fantasising indeed but not a healthy option.
2. Add healthy nutritious fluids to blend your smoothies.
3. Add nuts and dry fruits.
Nuts are loaded with healthy fats and fibre. Adding them in smoothies gives it a better texture too, so why not?
4. Do add coconut water when possible.
This goes without saying, low calories ,full of electrolytes and extremely healthy. So why not make your smoothie power packed with nutrition?
5. Add a flavouring substance for a boost.
This changed the taste of my smoothies so much. I am never going back to the plane old smoothie. I love to use cocoa powder and coffee decoction too. Sometimes the classic vanilla. Cinnamon is also worth a freaking shot. These flavours often contain a good amount of vitamins and minerals.
HIP HIP HURRAY!!!
We got the best smoothie prepped. Cheers to health and taste.
